Shy guy in Ohio
Hello! A friend of mine told me about the site so I thought I would check it out. I"ve been with women but have always been interested in guys. I"m trying to get back into shape before sharing pics (ugly divorce and a love of food = too much me :O), but would love to chat and get to know more people. Turn Ons
Intelligence. Able to talk about current events and their interests with passion. Being a caring person that is confident, but not cocky. Being someone who likes sports and keeping fit, but not a gym rat( or a guido as some might say). Someone who realizes sports are fun but not the center or their lives. Someone who is an independent thinker and not affraid to show it, within reason(i.e. knows when his/her point has been made and to stop talking). People who love or at least respect animals, especially cats and dogs (I have three cats and a Beagle and volunteer at the Animal Protective League). Someone that is very open about a relationships status (i.e. does not play games).
Turn Offs
Bad hygiene. Arrogance. Ignorance. Being-self centered and/or needy and clingy. Hard-core illegal substance use or drinking in excess all the time. People too caught-up on age, appearance, or are a size king/queen (i.e. superficial people). Liars and cheaters (sorry "open" relationships or adulterers are just not my thing-- I"m really not being judgemental, whatever floats your/your partner"s boat, its just that I have experienced this as the "cheated on" spouse and basically will not go through that again.
Movies
I pretty much like most types of movies.
Hobbies
I love Running, soccer, and baseball. I love to cook, garden, and collect/taste wine. Love spending an evening in with a nice home-cooked meal, good conversation, and games/a movie. I also love to read, go to museums and participate in other "cultural" activities.
Music
Almost anything except twangy country and hard core gansta rap. However, classical and alternative rock are my favorites.
