Hi, I'm the same age as you, 20 going on to 21 and I can honestly say I have never been into the "Brad Pitt" guys. I like guys with personality - who are genuine and flawed. And I am sure plenty of women out there agree with me. I personally find you attractive, so no, it is not that you're unattractive. Sometimes it's just a matter of luck. Yes, most girls your age do tend to go for the Brad Pitt type, and as it happens, so do most gay boys. That leaves those with average (or worse) looks wondering what's going on.
I know it's easy for me to say, but you shouldn't rush into popping your cherry just because all your friends seem to have done so (I'm sure many say they have but haven't) and your hormones are telling you you're ripe for it. It will happen to you when you're ready and I'm sure you'll find the right girl sooner rather than later.
The type of girl you describe is generally going to be a bit older than you, and perhaps that's where you should look. Don't worry, even the girls into the jocks and pretty boys will grow up too and realise that what they need is stability, not excitement and good looks.
