I own most of the books and I read them first. I even tried reading the post-Fleming books but they're all shit except for the one by Deaver. The Goldeneye adaptation made me gag |: I'm not a huge reader though. I have difficulty seeing what I'm reading. So I stick to movies usually xD Seeing as I've watched Skyfall about eight times since it came out, I think it's my favourite. Right after You Only Live Twice. But tbh the only Bond films I haven't liked were a couple of Moores, and Diamonds Are Forever (Couldn't stand the bad editing and camp). It's probably the longest running franchise of mine. Got into it when I was 9. The longest follow-up is Alien.

Yes, most people here think everyone else is a piece of meat d: I loved Skyfall. It's my favourite since On Her Majesty's Secret Service. But I'm a fan of the books, and they are NOT meant to make you feel good haha. Some bad shit happens to Bond in those. I think that's why people don't like OHMSS, because it's the closest to the books. People like the happy, cheesy side of it more. I like both, but I also like art films, and Skyfall was very close to that. I was happy to get a mature film and I'm excited for the next ones. Especially since the only way I can see them topping something as emotional as M's death is by bringing back Bond's wife D: And feel free to PM me any time. I always check just in case <3
