I don't know what format you use when uploading your files, but if you use decent compression (DivX etc), you should be able to get at least 10 mins with sound into the 50MB limit and the XTube FLV file should look OK too. For instance, my longest clip (not to everyone's taste, I know) is 4m20 with sound, and the DivX file is 19MB; as an MPG, it was over 60MB).
