Personally I like tats, especially on another person! Since I m not comfortable with needles at all! And yes, there are these silly rules everywhere. Honestly, I agree with Kurtis, don't make it too extreme. That is if you want to work in a place where people can see you. A tat is kind of permanent, so to walk around with native indians warpaint permanently on your face is perhaps erm, well fill in the blanks.
It's not corporate America that is to blame though, it is the system. The corporations just wory that the different employees will ruin their name and reputation. This is just because the sheeple are easily offended. People are weird animals, they have the tendency to label everything and everyone. When you don't fit in a box, they will create one for you. That's how rumors and bullshit suspicions start.
Overhere the sheeple are just the same. They are a stupid slow bunch, hardly able to think for themselves. Believing that a multicultural society can't ever work, because of differences. But fuck! I tell you, aren't we all different? Isn't it so that society was always multi-cultural. Families have their own specific traditions, they prep their own meals, they clean a certain way, they like to garden a certain way. That's basically it!
Furthermore certain jobs are simply not suitable for example gothics. A clown with a sad face is not what makes the children laugh. Life is stupid.
