I have a new feature to announce to you all.

Drum roll….

You can now select which thumbnail is used for each of your videos!

I have been designing this, and the programmers have been working to bringing my design to life for a while now and we are happy to now send it out into the wild and let all our wonderful XTube Users enjoy it.

The way it works is this:

When you upload a video it gets sent to conversion as usual. Now, during the conversion process we generate 15 thumbnails from certain times of the videos length.

When the video is done converting and is available online it will by default have a thumbnail associated with it so that your video can be viewed by everyone as soon as it’s ready.

The exciting part comes here; now when you go to My Videos – Edit video, you have the option to select a thumbnail from the 15 that were made during conversion.

Just click on the one you want, the example on the right will change, scroll down and click Update Video to save the change. Now every place your video lists on the site will use that thumbnail!

How cool is that? 

Best part? It works for ALL VIDEOS! – PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE uploads!
